John does the majority of the leak detection & cable location while Mitch attends to plumbing, gas fitting and hot water. Another son Ben is available for electrical services.

John Gerrans started a joint plumbing business in Perth over 30 years ago. A few years later he started specializing in leak detection and quickly became known for his expertise and skills. 

In 1998 the Gerrans family moved to Dunsborough in the southwest of WA and commenced Big Rock Leak Detection. Since then, Big Rock Leak Detection has detected over 10,000 leaks and find more every day!

Big Rock Leak Detection and Plumbing is a family owned and run business, employing their two sons Mitch who is a licensed plumber, licensed gas fitter and leak detector, Ben a licensed electrician and accredited cable locator.
